Keep Thanking God for His Blessings in Christ
As you read this sentence, you are probably sitting inside of a room. In the room, you enjoy all of it’s blessings like light, heat, shelter, furniture, etc. The only way to experience those particular blessings are to be in that room.
So it is with Christ. Since we are in Christ, we experience all of these blessings in Ephesians 1. They are found nowhere else.
God has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing, 1:3. He chose us in him before the foundation of the world, 1:4. We are blessed in the Beloved, 1:6. In him we have redemption through his blood, 1:7. He set forth his purpose in Christ, 1:9. God will unite all things in him, 1:10. In him we have obtained an inheritance, 1:11.
All of our past, present and future blessings are found in him. He is the room we are in. We are in him and he is in us. The sponge is in the ocean and the ocean is in the sponge. Today, let’s keep thanking God for all of these blessings that are ours in Christ.
Reflection Question:
“In Christ.” What’s significant about that phrase? Read through Ephesians One out loud and note the occurrences of In Christ, In Him, In the Beloved, etc.

Churches, business owners, non-profits and other organizations will participate in DWJ episodes providing all our viewers information about basic community resources to better the lives of their families. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? James 2:16 New International Version (NIV).
DINING WITH JESUS OUTCOME We are here to strengthen families and with God’s blessing we will see an increasing number of episodes helping us to bring people locally and from all nations to Jesus. All these people will make a difference in their families and in their community. We will build up an ongoing network of support with Evangelical Christian churches, the Christian community, nonprofit organizations, business owners and families to continue to strengthen families.
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with me. Revelation 3:20 NKJ.
