In Romans 13:7, the Apostle Paulk instructs us to meet all of our obligations as Christians. If we owe the state taxes or service, then we are instructed to leave no debt owing. Similarly, we are told that we should seek to show honor to those whom honor is due. 

Over this Memorial Day weekend my church was blessed to be able to do that very thing as we gave honor to those who have served us at both a national and local level. This kind of honor and support for those who sacrifice in the protection of our people and the promotion of our most deeply held values is exactly what it looks like for the people of God to be good citizens of whatever nation we find ourselves in. 

If you have a few minutes, I would encourage you to watch this short message and to participate in your own time of thanksgiving as you are led in the national hymn, “America the Beautiful.

We will build up an ongoing network of support with Evangelical Christian churches, the Christian community, nonprofit organizations, business owners and families to continue to strengthen families.
