Our Beliefs

The Bible

The Bible, God’s inspired word, governs our beliefs and practices.

Creeds and Confessions

Secondarily, we confess The Apostles’ Creed, The Nicene Creed, and The Athanasian Creed, and believe that Three Forms of Unity (The Belgic Confession, The Heidelberg Catechism, and The Canons of Dort) faithfully summarize the teaching of God’s word.

Reformed Theology

In the Protestant Reformation the Doctrines of Grace were rediscovered.

Reformed Theology is multifaceted and includes several core topics of doctrine. When people think of Reformed theology, the focus is often placed on the topic of salvation and so the acronym TULIP (Total Depravity, Unconditional Election, Limited Atonement, Irresistible Grace, Perseverance of the Saints) has become short hand for reformed theology.

The Five Solas (Latin for “alone”) of the Reformation (Scripture Alone, Faith Alone, Grace Alone, Christ Alone, Glory to God Alone), are also helpful as another summary of our understanding of salvation.

However, Reformed Theology should not be reduced to the bare minimum, for as it draws on scripture it presents a robust theology and worldview.

Covenant Theology

Covenant Theology highlights how God relates to his people throughout the Bible. This teaching culminates with the New Covenant in Christ and those grafted into Christ through faith.

With our Christian episodes create spiritual awareness among all nations about the importance of having a relationship with Jesus. With God’s love we cast out His word to all the nations of the world to gather His church. DINING WITH JESUS VISION STATEMENT Our vision is to strengthen families through God’s word and increasing the number of people locally and from all nations to come to Jesus. God’s word will spiritually heal and transform individuals and communities creating a sense of purpose and meaning in their lives along with responsibility and accountability. Churches, business owners, non-profits and other organizations will participate in DWJ episodes providing all our viewers information about basic community resources to better the lives of their families. DINING WITH JESUS OUTCOME We are here to strengthen families and with God’s blessing we will see an increasing number of episodes helping us to bring people locally and from all nations to Jesus. All these people will make a difference in their families and in their community. We will build up an ongoing network of support with Evangelical Christian churches, the Christian community, nonprofit organizations, business owners and families to continue to strengthen families.
