“GRACE AT THE TABLE”

THIS IS TABLE ROCK FELLOWSHIPPASTOR BILL MUIR (DEVOTIONALS)

Day 6 — “Grace at the Table”

“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.” — Psalm 23:5

“Grace means there is nothing we can do to make God love us more.” — Philip Yancey

Thought:
God’s response to hostility is hospitality. Instead of removing enemies, He sets a table. This is not denial of pain; it is defiance of fear. God nourishes us even when circumstances remain hard.

The table is a place of belonging. It says, You are safe. You are seen. You are provided for. Grace does not wait for perfect conditions—it meets us in the middle of conflict.

Reflection:
Where do I need to receive God’s grace instead of fighting my circumstances?

Application:
Practice gratitude today as an act of trust in God’s provision.

Prayer:
Gracious Host, thank You for meeting me where I am. Help me receive Your grace even when life feels contested. Amen.
