Today I want to encourage you to pause and reflect on the goodness of God. Life is busy and so are many of our prayers. We have so many needs, wants, concerns, and fears to lay before the Lord that we can often forget to pause and follow the example of the Lord Jesus Christ as he taught his disciples to pray. 

9 “This, then, is how you should pray: “ ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,

10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

(Matthew 6:9-10 NIV11)

Hallowed

The Lord is to be praised. The Lord is worthy of our praise. 

The Lord is holy. The Lord is worthy of our awe and reverence. 

Come to the Lord this morning and spend time recognizing the good and glorious God who calls us his children. 

For some added help, I would love to point you to a beautiful and moving moment of praise and worship that was recently provided through the ministry of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. 

This is a great way to meditate on the goodness and glory of the Lord.

We will build up an ongoing network of support with Evangelical Christian churches, the Christian community, nonprofit organizations, business owners and families to continue to strengthen families.
