Was I Assaulted? Women Are Assaulted After Drinking
Intoxicated women cannot consent to sex. In order for sex to be lawful, both parties must be able to consent. Passed out, partially conscious or intoxicated women cannot consent to sex. Consent requires an audible response. An inability to say “no” is not consent. Help us hold those accountable that violate your rights.
The consequences of drinking and driving affect lives. One of the primary reasons why people call Uber and Lyft is to avoid driving while intoxicated. Ridesharing companies encourage people to call them if they have been drinking, and advertise themselves as a safe alternative to driving after going out with friends and drinking. Unfortunately, after making the right choice to call Uber or Lyft, they are taken advantage of by drivers that sexually assault them because the women may have been impaired by alcohol or other drugs. The only thing you should worry about after a night out on the town is a hangover, not a sexual assault. This despicable behavior by Uber and Lyft drivers is wrong and unlawful.

Sexual assault can take many forms, but one thing always remains the same, sexual assault is not the victims fault. People hire Uber and Lyft drivers to bring them from one destination to another. Not to be sexually assaulted. If you were sexually assaulted by an Uber or Lyft driver, you are not alone. We have your back. We believe you, and we will support you.
